Pistol Range Open Foothills Firearms Training Center's Pistol Range with Action Target® reactive steel targets will now be open to the public on Wednesday afternoon from 1:30 PM till 5:30 PM. Call, (864) 630-1883, e-mail, info@cwpclass.com or check Facebook page prior to coming to the range. Shooters will be able to use the Plate Rack, the Dueling Tree, Poppers, or a variety of static paper targets. The cost is $12.00 per hour or $25.00 for the afternoon. Payment may be in the form of approved check or cash at the range or credit card online prior to coming to the range. Shooters may furnish their own guns, ammo, and safety equipment or they may rent guns and safety equipment and purchase ammo on the range. No guns or ammo are stored at the range so you must call ahead to arrange gun rental or ammo purchase; 630-1883 or info@cwpclass.com No guns larger than 45 long Colt will be permitted. Personal guns and ammo will be checked to make sure they meet reasonable safety standards. Shooters will be required to demonstrate safe gun handling techniques and knowledge of gun safety rules prior to paying for range time. Shooters will not bring loaded guns to the range which they intend to use on the range. CWP holders may have their concealed weapons on them but will not use them on the range. An ammo point will be available to load magazines and speed loaders. Guns will only be loaded on the firing line and will be shown "Clear" before leaving the firing line. Semi-autos will have slide locked to the rear and magazines out when not on the firing line. Only strong side holsters will be permitted-no cross draw, SOB, or other types of holsters which permit the muzzle to be pointed anywhere but down range when drawn. Handguns available for rent: Springfield 1911, 45 acp; Beretta 92 FS, 9 mm; Sig P239, 9 mm; Glock 19, 9 mm; Glock 23, 40 S&W; S&W Mod 41, 22 LR; S&W 442 Airweight, 38 spl; S&W 64, 38 spl. Cost of handgun rental is $12.00 per gun plus cost of ammo or you can purchase a package of all guns for $25.00 plus the cost of ammo. You may use your own commercially manufactured, non-magnum ammo.
